I’m a third year environments designer at the Carnegie Mellon School of Design. Environments design is understanding and manipulating the relationships of space and time in order to produce a desired user experience; the context and system in which an interaction occurs is a crucial focus.

I'm passionate about how environments design can be used to encourage sustainable lifestyles and habits which are beneficial for people, the planet, and the economy. If you're interested in my work or have questions, feel free to contact me at jmtom@andrew.cmu.edu
